2015

2014 has been eventful (that's putting it lightly) for us, and we were looking forward to celebrate it, as well as welcoming 2015! Even though our families and friends are an ocean away, we always feel loved and welcomed with our friends from the team, and we had a great time partying the night away here in GaPa!

One of my family's favorite tradition (my aunt Dominique's game) is to make 'Papilottes' filled with candies and chocolates. They are put on the Christmas tree and kids (kids at heart too) may open them throughout the evening, in a 'bomb'-manner.. Which means candies spilling everywhere around the room and a TON of fun!!

Happy New Year 2015!!

It's customary to spend about 10% of your yearly salary on fireworks on New Year's Eve, and some guys on the team had got some illegal (well, legal in Czech Republic anyway) fireworks and explosive devices.. It was awesome!! The sky above Garmisch was illuminated with such bright lights for a really long time; it was a wonderful night!

NOW; we come to my absolute favorite day of the year; JANUARY 1st!
