Mexican Night at Casa Brine

We had another 'imports' dinner', and this time it was at our place (0:

Mexican deliciousness; enchiladas, salsa, pita chips, hummus, stuffed peppers.. And SO MANY dips!

Another great Scandinavian drink; CULT makaï. Blueberry and Citrus ciders.

Dre & I compared feet size.. That's not a sober activity lol

I missed Mel really bad that night, so I took a picture of our tatoo (0:

Jace spent about 40min drawing a 'mural' on our chalkboard.

Kelsie + I making fun of David because....

... Of this!! Best picture of the night! Say Hi to Louie! He is Kelsie & Jace's dog.

Best way to describe the food situation on imports' nights;

While the boys are away (0:

The boys were away for a game on Sunday

Yes, David is the Captain of the team this year. In Danish; Kaptajn! Eddie and Daniel Madsen are the Assistants.

It was a really nice day outside, so Kelsie and I decided to go visit Ruth, who lives right besides a beautiful park!

We fed the ducks and swans for a little bit and then we had to walk back to Ruth's place, because I had forgotten to bring a bottle opener for our drinks ahahaha

Buy the way; this was our drink.. Really good (0:   'TEMPT' are my favorite drinks here, they are vodka drinks with fun flavors.

.. It's getting really cold here, so I finally get to wear my cape!! I love wearing it (0:
It was a Christmas present from years ago and I bring it everywhere with me!

What happens in the kitchen..

This is a daily occurrence

While this was a special haircut night!

.. And I'm gonna post this coz they kinda all made fun of my overly organizational skills lol.. Eddie mentioned he was feeling a little under the weather so, I made him a to-go pharmacy out of our pharmacy drawer.

Thanksgiving!

Last Saturday, we celebrated one of the best Thanksgiving of our lives! Americans and Canadians got together and we had amazing food, great drinks, and so much fun playing games and chatting away (0:

Traditional Thanksgiving food made by Dre, Kelsie & Ruth. It was so delicious; David had leftover stuffing for breakfast the next day!

I was responsible for desserts!! I made yummy apple pie, pumpkin cheesecake pie, and homemade pumpkin-stuffed Oreos!

'Act natural'

Only one plate was gonna be big enough for Eddie's portion side; the serving dish (0:

Games

.. with Mike

Kelsie & Dre

We also celebrated our 6months wedding anniversary (0:  Although a little tipsy; we took time out of our walk home to mark the event with a semi-selfie ahahah

We hope everybody had a wonderful time with their friends and family on Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for our lives and the people who are in them. We miss many of you back home, but our friends here make a wonderful family here in Aalborg (0:

... Ok, we are sooooo very thankful for Raf; he is the best ahahah xx

2nd Home Game

Unfortunately, the Pirates lost that one 2-1, but it was a great game to watch!

Game outfit

Sometimes we get to sit in a VIP area, but they don't allow us to eat the food )0:
We can't watch the game from the inside of the bar-area, but we get to sit on those amazing beanbags!! How cool is that? Ahahah it really is the best way to watch the games!

Before the game, settling in.

The team got their game outfits. Not the greatest fit for most of the guys, but a free suit nonetheless.
Matt, Eddie, Mike, David, Nick, Tommy, Alex, Jace, Coach.

MAID in Denmark

We live in an older building where we share 2 laundry machines with about 50 other tenants, so laundry isn't that easy to do. I usually get up really early and get there before it's too busy, but sometimes we just have to go to the laundrymat! Also, we must pay for laundry here, in our building it works with a card, which you load with money by calling some rich kid who show up in a Lamborghini..

We still manage to have fun. I pretended to be a Toreador, to prepare for our trip to Spain!

Riding away my bike with my laundry in a backpack.

Everybody knows I would do anything to get out of vacuuming. I would rather do every other domestic tasks just to get out of vacuuming.. David is a nice husband (0:   Mischievous, too.

Food!

Although food is a little bit more expensive here, we do eat really good meals (0:
I'm excited for Julie and Wilma to visit, so they can teach me more about Good Ol' American Cooking!!

Here are a few of our favorites (0:

Everybody's Top Meal (except for my dad) is my mom's Salsa Chicken!!

Since a meal at McDonald's is around $17; we make our own, with homemade BigMac Sauce and hashtag fries.

A new pregame meal; almond-crusted chicken.

We are not big fans of the 'white' sauces here, so I make my own Alfredo when we have pasta meals.

Sandwiches! So many sandwiches lol.

Eddie finally got to taste real Québec Crèpes!

I make our own chocolate spead, which could be describe as a mix between Nutella and chocolate icing.

This right here is the only ingredient I can't live without. Maple Butter, from a 'maple farm' in my county.

Eddie's life is about to change! (Spoiler: he liked it)

Our favorite $17 boxe of wine, which contains 4 bottles of wine.. Cost for a glass? $1. Not bad!

The gym. All those calories aren't gonna burn themselves (0:
There are multiple free, outside gyms around the city, in various parks. All of the machines work by using your body as the weight. Very smart and convenient!
