Living life in transition
Nobody likes to move. Nobody likes to pack. However it had to be done. We were able to enjoy one last night with our friends from Aalborg on the eve of our departure for Germany. We shared wine, food and stories, while sitting on the floor of our beloved Danish appartment. I still feel pretty devastated about leaving the life we made there, I cried when I had to say goodbye to our friends. Fortunately, the life which was awaiting us in Germany dried my tears pretty fast. There is not a day that goes by where I don't speak to my friends from Denmark, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen has turned out to be a wonderful town which fits our lifestyle so perfectly!
We left some stuff for our friends.
Some were more excited about their 'care/gift bags' then others lol. Jace(-Son) and I we're basically the same person (no wonder we both fell in love with Kels), making us forever linked in food & candy choices. Skittles > Cilantro.
8AM / Airport / Bye Aalborg, never coming back!
We are so thankful for the support from our families back home. We know we were in your thoughts and prayers, and here we have an exemple of my maman doing everything she can to keep us safe and happy <3
The flights to Munich were good, and our layover in Copenhagen left us $80 poorer after 2 sandwiches and 1 Pepsi!
We made it to GaPa in time for dinner, so we walked around and found a restaurant/bar where we had our first delicious German meal. Mountains everywhere; I was so happy to be here (0:
Funky ambiance
First morning after a really long day (really long week, let's be honest). Marshmallow Ianne!
Ready to go read outside. I couldn't find my own jackets, so Da's korean vest was the best I could do!
Our home in Germany for the first week.
Think I deserve that €2.79 / 1 litre of wine? If your answer is no; think again (0:

This is my face, every single day. I am still amazed at how lucky we are to live here. The mountains keep me calm(ish) and I just can't wait to go snowboard and explore them!
