Here are some highlights for us;
I got a job in Germany! I'm so excited; I get to wear actual clothes which are not made by Under Armour, Nike or Lululemon ahaha
Typical outfit ( it's still pretty relaxed, but I'm actually wearing makeup, a real grown-up bra(!!), and jewelry?!!)
I had fun for Christmas Eve and wore sparkles and my Santa hat! It made customers happy, and one of them got me a box of Ferrero Rocher, yumm!
.. Before we knew it; it was time to open our presents from Canada!
Joyeux Noël from St-Ferréol-les-Neiges! ( on FaceTime with the fam )
Our packages
Taste test!!
Gifts time!! I was beyond excited to receive a new pair of my favorite mitts from the best store ever; Simons! Every Quebecquois NEEDS a Simons green box under the tree; it's the ultimate QC present. Simons is the QC version of Macy's in the USA; it's been part of my life forever (0:
Very ~appy!
David got a homemade gift certificate to a great restaurant.. in Denmark ahahaha. My family sent the package containing our gifts before we moved to Germany, and we had really wanted to go to this particular restaurant, called Rusk, downtown Aalborg, where we lived ( it was literally below our apartment and we saw it every day ). We laughed so much ahahahaha. Luckily, the 'gift card' was homemade by my mom so we were able to use the money towards a different restaurant here, called GlassHaus, which is owned by the husband of one of my coworker (0:
What we ate; delicious schnitzel!
More presents..
Hockey player wrapping; hockey tape.
Unfortunately we didn't take many pictures when opening our gifts with the Brines, but here is an appearance from Jenny!
Rafaël & his family spent the Holidays in sunny Florida and from the looks of it, he enjoyed it (0:
