Here we go; we have now been living in our second home here for 4 weeks and we enjoy every minute here (0:
We basically live just off the 'Spring Garden' or 'La Grande Allée' of Aalborg.
View from the dining room. There is a little garden area with cafes and shops at the end of that cul-de-sac. We are surrounded by churches and hear bells ring at almost every hour of the day.
Welcome home! To the left; bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. To the right; dining room and living room.In Denmark, showers are not a separate part of the bathroom. There is basically a shower head, and you install a shower curtain and voilà! It was a little annoying at the beginning because water goes everywhere on the floor, but we got the technique down now!
The kitchen, while on the small side, is very functional. On the left there is a door leading to the garden in the backyard, which is really nice. As per usual, no dishwasher and a very small fridge (i believe it is even smaller than my parents' camping fridge lol), but we live close to a lot of grocery stores so we do grocery runs daily.
David found a fondue pot on one of our walk around town (0:Our bedroom has a great view of the garden, but that's not the best part! In Denmark, couple share bed, but not sheets! We each have our own comforter and this danish tradition is most definitely coming back with us!!
